Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Responsibilities Collaborate with customers and the sales team to resolve outstanding payments on aged accounts and maintain minimal past‑due balances. Accurately post and reconcile customer payments within the accounting system. Process and apply customer rebates, deductions, credits, and other account adjustments with precision. Research, investigate, and resolve customer disputes, rebate claims, deductions, and customer portal discrepancies in a timely manner. Proactively gather and evaluate relevant information regarding customer activities, including returns (RMAs), rebates, disputes, and other account‑related matters to ensure accountability and compliance with established business processes. Conduct weekly reviews of customer portals to verify invoice processing status, identify potential issues, and monitor new deductions or adjustments initiated by customers. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Compensation & Benefits Determining compensation for this role at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure, office location, and other considerations. The salary range is noted in this posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
