Key Responsibilities\n

As a Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs and collaboratively developing personalized treatment plans.

• Providing individual, group, and family therapy sessions grounded in evidence-based practices, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Collaborating closely with case managers and psychiatrists to ensure seamless care and coordination for clients throughout their wellness journey.

• Offering crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute distress, employing effective de-escalation techniques and immediate therapeutic strategies.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, applicants must:

• Possess a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field, with preference given to candidates with a master’s or doctoral degree in disciplines such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to forge authentic connections with clients to facilitate therapeutic relationships.

• Showcase excellent organizational and time management skills to maintain accurate and timely documentation within our electronic health record system.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling is required, we particularly value experience in community mental health settings, crisis intervention, and group therapy facilitation.
