Supervisory Emergency Management Specialist (Field Operations)

Summary This position is a Division Director within the Field Leadership Directorate and is located in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate for this position will provide leadership and oversight of senior emergency management personnel, including: overseeing standard recruitment and hiring processes, developing/maintaining training programs, and developing standards related to the availability of personnel. Responsibilities What will I do in this position if hired? In this position, you will serve as the Supervisory Emergency Management Specialist (Field Operations). Typical assignments include: Serving as the Director over the policies and programmatic delivery of a division responsible for the recruitment, resourcing, training, and professional development of Federal Coordinating Officers, Chiefs of Staff, and other members of the Field Leadership Cadre. Overseeing program budget development and execution including recommending reallocations to meet organizational objectives. Managing staff to ensure programmatic development and execution in alignment with strategic direction and government authorities.
