Mammography Technologist

This Mammo Tech opportunity is full time at 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient Monday-Friday schedule. This individual will perform diagnostic mammography/Dexa/ X-ray procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their mammogram. Participates in CQI activities. Job Duties/Responsibilities Responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing treatment and use of equipment to minimize hazards and extraneous radiation to patients Able to assess patient pain interfering with imaging procedure. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) in radiography and certified/board eligible in mammography.
