Role Summary Raytheon is seeking an experienced Senior Manager with a strong background in Supply Chain and Program Management to fill a critical Material Program Manager (MPM) role supporting National, Strategic, & Civil Solutions (NSCS) programs within the Mission Solutions & Payloads (MSP) suite of programs. The individual must succeed in a high‑stress, fast‑paced development environment and possess excellent time‑management/prioritization skills, strong communication, leadership abilities, and a capacity to work well in a matrixed IPT environment. The Material Program Manager will report directly to the NSCS Supply Chain Management Lead. What You Will Do Lead a Space Program and advise the Supply Chain Management Lead as well as the Program Management Office on material strategies, plans and supplier risk mitigation activities. Support the development, coordination and execution of all program material strategies, supply chain objectives, and enterprise objectives. Engage in early supplier involvement and management. Support Supply Chain proposal activities including task descriptions and basis of estimates that support price to win (PTW) targets. Support the development and execution of material program plans (MPP). Establish Material Sales Forecasts for assigned programs. Develop and execute risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives. Partner cross‑functionally with Engineering, Quality and Operations to create common schedule based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP). Monitor performance metrics and proactively act to address program and functional issues. Exert influence to achieve overall objectives and long‑range goals of the program and the program IPT team. Frequently lead discussions and presentations to all levels of management, senior leadership, and customers. Balance strategic thinking with tactical application of strategies to programs. Qualification Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum ten (10) years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum seven (7) years experience. Minimum eight (8) years experience in supplier management, project management, and/or program management. Experience using manufacturing or enterprise planning tools, including MRP (Kinaxis, SAP, PRISM). Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Prefer supervisory experience. Experience with government regulations (FAR/DFAR, ITAR/EAR, TINA, etc.). Experience developing and analyzing performance metrics. Experience with Proposal and New Business Capture. The salary range for this role is 145,600 USD - 276,800 USD.
