Accounting Clerk

Accounting Clerk We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join a growing team in North Houston. This position will support day-to-day accounting operations with a primary focus on accounts receivable, cash applications, collections, and vendor reconciliations. Responsibilities Enter and post daily cash deposits. Handle AR collections via phone and email. Send customer statements and follow up on outstanding balances. Research and resolve customer account discrepancies. Scan, save, and distribute customer invoices. Reconcile vendor payables and verify invoice numbers and amounts. Maintain accurate customer and vendor information within the accounting system. Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, operations, and management. Assist with accounting process improvements as needed. Qualifications 3+ years of accounting experience. Experience with AR, collections, cash applications, and reconciliations preferred. Strong Microsoft Office and general computer skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and time-management abilities. Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working as part of a team.
