Sabio Systems is seeking a skilled Legal Assistant for a premier, established law firm in Albuquerque, NM. This specialized role requires a professional with direct experience in estate planning and probate law to manage asset documentation, draft vital legal instruments, and interface closely with clients.


Job Responsibilities for the Legal Assistant:

• Prepare wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
• File court petitions, track deadlines, and administer estate assets.
• Coordinate initial consultations and gather financial asset information.
• Prepare and record real estate deed transfers with county clerks.
• Organize digital and physical case files using practice management software.
• Manage attorney court dates, signing appointments, and deadlines.

Qualifications for the Legal Assistant:

• Minimum 2+ years of legal assistant experience strictly within estate planning or probate law.
• Familiarity with New Mexico probate courts and filing procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software (e.g., Clio, Smokeball, or HotDocs).
• Exceptional written and verbal skills for high-net-worth client interaction.
• High accuracy in proofreading complex legal formulas and asset lists.

Compensation for the Legal Assistant:

$22.00 - $27.00 Hourly (DOE)
