Description

• Conduct evaluations in either inpatient or outpatient environments and develop personalized treatment plans
• Provide physical therapy interventions focusing on mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and home exercise regimens
• Document evaluations, interventions, and progress meticulously in line with institutional and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to guarantee cohesive care

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Demonstrated experience is highly desirable
