About the Role Hall Prangle is seeking to hire a full-time associate in its Las Vegas office who has at least 2-5 years as a practicing litigator (experience in medical malpractice or healthcare law is a plus but not necessary). Associates will work with small teams of attorneys and paralegals, led by seasoned trial attorneys with proven track records, all working collaboratively to efficiently provide our clients with the best possible results. Hall Prangle offers attorneys flexibility in how they structure their work schedules, while encouraging regular in-office work to foster collaboration, maintain strong working relationships, and take advantage of the welcoming accessibility of firm partners. Overall, the right candidate will be skilled and hard-working as well as pleasant and personable. Responsibilities Provide legal counsel and representation to the firm’s clients from pre-trial through trial Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, written discovery, and agreements Attend court hearings, depositions, trials, and client meetings Conduct legal research and case analysis Collaborate with senior associates and partners on case strategy Contribute to business development and client relationship management What You will Need to Succeed Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Active membership in the Nevada State Bar 2-5 years’ experience in defense litigation, experience in medical malpractice or healthcare law a plus Strong understanding of State and Federal court rules and procedures Strong litigation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Excellent legal research and writing skills Exceptional oral and written communication How You will Grow Hall Prangle's senior attorneys, education committee, and mentorship program prioritize providing our attorneys with the tools to learn and grow within the firm.
