Key Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and designing personalized treatment regimens
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues alone or in collaboration with supervising physicians (as per your credentialing)
• Instructing patients and their families on wellness, disease prevention, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies within your professional purview
• Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic illness management

• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licenses and Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or its specialty equivalent
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) credentials (or eligibility to obtain within 90 days)
