Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Advance your career as a school psychologist working on a contract basis within a supportive and dynamic educational setting. This full-time opportunity runs from August 31st through January 1st, offering the chance to make a direct impact in the lives of students from PreK through 2nd grade. You’ll be on-site for 35 hours each week, collaborating with dedicated school staff while providing essential psychological services.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Connecticut School Psychologist certification (070) is required
• Experience working with early childhood and primary grades, preferably in school settings
• Strong assessment, observation, and counseling skills
• Ability to address diverse social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and observations to identify student needs related to social, emotional, or behavioral concerns
• Develop and deliver therapeutic counseling services to small groups and individual students
• Lead and coordinate PPT (Planning and Placement Team) meetings
• Facilitate 504 meetings and document all related interventions and outcomes
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to promote student well-being and academic success
