THE ROLE

\n

We are seeking a Payments Solutions Consultant to join our rapidly expanding Payments Practice. This role is ideal for an experienced payments professional who combines deep industry expertise with strong consulting, solutioning, business development, and client engagement capabilities.

\n

You will work closely with client stakeholders, business leaders, sales teams, solution architects, and delivery organizations to define and execute strategic payment transformation initiatives. The role requires a trusted advisor mindset, helping clients navigate modernization efforts while shaping solutions that improve operational efficiency, enhance customer experiences, and support long-term business objectives.

In addition to client advisory responsibilities, you will contribute to business development efforts, solution workshops, proposal development, executive presentations, thought leadership initiatives, and go-to-market activities that strengthen Incedo's market presence.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

\n

\n
• Partner with clients to understand payment strategies, operating models, business objectives, and modernization priorities
\n
• Conduct discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, assessments, and workshops to evaluate current-state payment environments
\n
• Serve as a trusted advisor by delivering industry insights, best practices, and strategic recommendations
\n
• Define payment transformation roadmaps aligned to client business goals and industry trends
\n
• Advise organizations on payment modernization, real-time payments, integrated payables, payment orchestration, digital payments, and operational transformation initiatives
\n
• Support engagements involving payment platforms, payment rails, customer experience enhancements, regulatory compliance, and operational optimization
\n
• Collaborate with sales, account teams, and practice leadership to support business development and strategic growth initiatives
\n
• Develop proposals, RFP responses, solution presentations, business cases, executive briefings, and client-facing collateral
\n
• Participate in strategic client discussions and capability presentations that articulate the value of Incedo's Payments Practice
\n
• Partner with architects, consultants, and delivery teams to ensure solution alignment and successful implementation
\n
• Bridge business and technology organizations by translating business requirements into practical solution recommendations
\n
• Contribute to industry thought leadership, consulting frameworks, accelerators, and payments-focused go-to-market initiatives

WHAT YOU BRING

\n

Must Haves

\n

\n
• 8+ years of experience within payments, banking, fintech, consulting, or payment technology organizations
\n
• Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, payment operations, transaction processing, and evolving industry trends
\n
• Experience supporting payment modernization, digital payments, transaction banking, treasury services, integrated payables, or real-time payments initiatives
\n
• Knowledge of major payment rails and networks, including ACH, Wire, RTP, FedNow, SWIFT, cross-border payments, cards, and digital wallets
\n
• Demonstrated success engaging senior business stakeholders, product leaders, and technology executives
\n
• Strong consulting, presentation, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
\n
• Experience contributing to proposals, solution development, business cases, executive presentations, and pre-sales activities
\n
• Ability to conduct client workshops, discovery sessions, assessment engagements, and requirements-gathering initiatives
\n

• Experience supporting payment modernization programs and ISO 20022 transformation initiatives
\n
• Knowledge of embedded payments, open banking, treasury management, payment operations transformation, or digital banking solutions
\n
• Familiarity with payment processors, banking platforms, fintech ecosystems, and payment technology providers
\n
• Understanding of API-based architectures, cloud platforms, and digital transformation initiatives within financial services
\n
• Experience with regulatory and compliance requirements including AML, sanctions screening, KYC/KYB, and payment risk management
\n
• Prior experience working with banks, payment networks, fintech organizations, consulting firms, or software providers
\n
• Exposure to emerging payment technologies, Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), and payment orchestration platforms
\n
