Social Worker Full Time Regular 12 days ago Requisition ID: 1173 Salary Range: $94,000.00 To $96,000.00 Annually POSITION SUMMARY The Social Worker supports clients, individuals, and families cope with challenges and improve their well-being. They provide support, counseling, advocacy, and access to resources for people dealing with issues such as mental health, disability, healthcare, and family problems. The Social Worker reports to the Director of Behavioral Support Services. They assess clients’ needs and connects them with appropriate services and support systems. They work with individuals and families to improve clients’ quality of life and help them overcome social, emotional, and financial difficulties. QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelors degree in Social Work from an accredited institution required. Current state licensure as an LCSW, LMSW, or equivalent preferred or required based on Maryland regulations. Experience: Experience with case management, crisis intervention, and family support services preferred. Skills: Understanding of mental health, trauma-informed care, and social service systems. Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Proficient in electronic medical records and complete Microsoft Office suite. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Family and Client Relations Provide individual, family, and group counseling services. Assist clients and families in accessing community resources, benefits, and support services. Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), therapists, educators, physicians, and other professionals to coordinate care. Provide crisis intervention and behavioral support as needed. Educate caregivers and staff on behavior management techniques, coping strategies, and supportive interventions. Data Collection and Secure Retention Participate in case conferences, treatment team meetings, and care coordination activities. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, ethical standards, state regulations, and HIPAA requirements. Support discharge planning and transition services when appropriate. Maintain cultural sensitivity and trauma-informed approaches in all client interactions. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to travel between CSAAC sites and participate in on-site observations. Ability to operate a computer, keyboard, and other office equipment. Ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients in person and on the phone.
