Clinical Director Physical TherapyLeads rehabilitative services in a community-based educational clinic, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based patient care. Supervises physical therapy staff, oversees evaluations and treatment plans, supports patient and caregiver education, and fosters collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Responsible for leading program development, community outreach, and initiatives that promote functional independence, mobility, and overall wellness.Conducts comprehensive evaluations for patients with musculoskeletal and neuromuscular impairments. Develops, implements, and progresses individualized Plans of Care focused on achieving measurable functional goals and patient-centered outcomes. Maintains compliance by ensuring timely, accurate, and appropriate communication with referring physicians. Delivers evidence-based physical therapy interventions and ensures high-quality patient care. Maintains accurate, timely documentation that supports medical necessity and complies with regulatory and reimbursement standards. Educates patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, assistive devices and technology, and ergonomic safety. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient transitions. Leads or participates in community and student workshops, wellness programs, and clinical outreach events. Mentors and supervises support staff and students. Ensures a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment in adherence to infection control protocols. Hires, trains, evaluates, and supervises staff and student employees.Doctoral degree in related field from an accredited institution. Three years' relevant experience. Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and patient engagement skills. Demonstrated commitment to community health, health education, and serving underserved and diverse populations. Previous managerial experience in outpatient, community, or educational settings. Michigan State Licensure.Terminal Appointment ends 06/30/2027 with a potential of being extended.
