Compensation Range$130,000.00 - $160,000.00 Annual SalaryJob Description Summary:Overall management of construction project resulting in successful project completion.Job Description:POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Able to perform all Assistant Project Manager’s and Project Engineer’s responsibilities (refer to position descriptions)Estimate and establish budgets and contract price (GMP/Lump Sum)Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchasesSet up and implement job procedures and techniques to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval and material deliveryKeep project on scheduleDevelop and maintain good relationship with Owner, Architect and SubcontractorsWork with Superintendent to develop safety plans and to implement safety proceduresMaintain timely and accurate reporting to managementManage, train, and supervise project team according to Company policyOrganize regular meetings for management and subcontractorsReview contract conditions; ensure compliance with all contract termsSupervise documentation of all significant project events, e.g., accidents, delays, Change OrdersDirect preconstruction services and activitiesNegotiate, prepare and issue subcontract bid packagesSupport and lead coordination efforts for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and fire suppression (MEPFS) systemsAssist with business development and participate in job interviewsMaintain quality control (integrity and excellence of completed project)Support estimating staff (bid item specialist)Avoid or mitigate claims and conflictComplete all job close-out proceduresConduct warranty follow-up (1-year warranty walks)Complete project with full or enhanced feeComplete other responsibilities as assignedMINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree or equivalent experienceField construction management experience (5-8 years, including supervisory skills)Leadership abilityProblem-solving ability and strong sense of urgencyOrganizational and communication skillsExperience in design/build or a design-assist roleExperience with Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) systems, or negative air-systems in a healthcare or other.Experience with construction work in critical environments, i.e. occupied spaces, acute care, clean-room, sterile field, etc.Drafting and computer skillsFundamental knowledge of contract law and project accountingThorough understanding of all project management control systems (scheduling, cost control, procurement and estimating)SUMMARY OF BENEFITS:This role is eligible for the following benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company matching, Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), individual stock ownership, paid vacation, paid sick leave, paid holidays, bereavement leave, employee assistance program, pre-tax flexible spending accounts, basic term life insurance and AD&D, business travel accident insurance, short and long term disability, financial wellness coaching, educational assistance, Care.com membership, ClassPass fitness membership, and DashPass delivery membership.
