Quick Facts Location: Colorado Springs, CO (175 South Union Boulevard) Start Date: 05/22/2026 Duration: Ongoing locum assignment Shift: Hospital: 8:00 AM to 8:00 AM (24-hour shifts) Clinic: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (weekday basis) Call Schedule: 1 in 5 weekdays; 1 in 10 overnight/weekend shifts Hours per Week: Flexible based on schedule; approximately 20+ patients/day in clinic, weekly deliveries and surgeries Employment Type: Locum Tenens Required Licenses/Certifications: Active Colorado medical license, board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Experience Needed: At least 2 years in OB/GYN practice, including obstetric procedures and deliveries Pay & Benefits Pay Package: Competitive hourly rates (rate details discussed upon application) Additional Compensation: Holiday, overtime, and on-call pay available Benefits: Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Reimbursements for travel (flights, lodging up to $150/night, car rental, mileage), uniforms, licensure, certifications, and other related expenses Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team to assist throughout your assignment What You’ll Do Provide OB/GYN consultations and manage patient care for low and high-risk pregnancies Perform obstetric ultrasounds, FHR interpretation, NST/CST/FSE monitoring Conduct routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections and VBACs Manage labor and delivery, including emergencies and surgical interventions Interpret diagnostic imaging and coordinate patient care plans Collaborate with a team of experienced OB/GYNs and mid-level providers Ensure compliance with hospital protocol and maintain accurate documentation in Epic system What You Need Required: Medical license in Colorado or eligibility to obtain one Board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN Minimum 2 years of OB/GYN clinical experience Excellent knowledge of obstetric procedures, delivery management, and ultrasound interpretation Preferred: Experience with Level I and Level II obstetric ultrasounds Experience managing high-risk pregnancies and complex deliveries Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts About the Assignment Join a leading facility in Colorado Springs, delivering compassionate, comprehensive OB/GYN care to diverse patient populations.
