Locum - Physician - OB/GYN Colorado Springs, CO

UCHealth Printers Park Medical Plaza OB/GYN Clinic/Memorial Central Medical Center is seeking a qualified Locum OB/GYN physician to provide clinic coverage and call services. The ideal candidate will have experience with low to high-risk pregnancies, OB ultrasounds, and delivery procedures, including C-sections and VBACs. This role involves a mix of outpatient clinic work and hospital-based obstetric care, with a schedule including weekday clinic hours, hospital L&D shifts, and in-house call.

Schedule:

• Hospital: 8 am to 8 am (24-hour in-house call)
• Clinic: 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday
• Call: 1 in 5 weekday shifts, 1 in 10 weekends and overnights
• Weekday call and hospital coverage are flexible based on candidate availability and clinic needs
• Typical weekly commitment: 3 clinic days plus one hospital L&D shift

Responsibilities:

• Manage low and high-risk pregnancies
• Perform obstetric ultrasounds and FHR interpretation
• Conduct routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections and VBACs
• Assist with gynecological minor procedures as needed
• Collaborate with a team of OB/GYNs and mid-level providers
• Use Epic electronic documentation system
• Onsite lab and ultrasound services provided

Qualifications:

• Valid OB/GYN licensure and certification
• Experience with obstetric and gynecological procedures
• Ability to handle high-volume patient care in a busy environment
• Strong communication skills and team collaboration

Compensation:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $160.00/hour

Travel Requirements:

• Flights: Reimbursed by receipt, economy class only
• Lodging: Reimbursed by receipt, up to $150/night before taxes

• Mileage: Reimbursed at IRS standard rate
