Assembler / Assembly (Pump Assembly)

Overview

Pump Assembler
• Assemble pump components using hand tools and fixtures
• Fit and adjust parts to specified tolerances to ensure proper function and quality
• Operate and adjust test equipment to verify performance and quality requirements
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions
• Identify defects or nonconformances and escalate as required
• Review product and inventory documentation within a computer system
• Confirm production quantities in SAP

Skills and Experience

• Follow standard work instructions, procedures, and safety requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure part number, quantity, and product accuracy
• Support production flow by ensuring materials, components, and assemblies are completed accurately and on
time
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities (e.g., 5 Whys)
• Use company systems and tools to perform work accurately and efficiently
• Actively uphold safety standards and report unsafe conditions or practices
• Perform other related duties as assigned based on operational needs
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, and material handling, including inventory management and parts
picking.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and basic computer applications; ability to learn SAP and inventory platforms (SAP
experience is a plus).
• Hands-on experience operating fork trucks and working safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
