Role Description
We're hiring an Executive Assistant to our COO (former Head of Strategy at Blameless, a nine-figure exit). This is a full-time, on-site role in Mission Bay, San Francisco.
This is a true right-hand role—you'll be enabling our COO to focus on what matters most: our clients.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years as an Executive Assistant supporting executives in fast-moving environments (startup/VC/finance experience strongly preferred)
- Exceptional written communication - You can write emails that sound like your executive, not like an assistant
- Exceptional attention to detail - You catch the typo, the scheduling conflict, the missing attachment before it becomes a problem
- Ownership mentality - Problems are yours to solve, not to escalate
- Ego-free service orientation - Your job is to make someone else more successful, and you find deep satisfaction in that
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ year commitment to the role
What You'll Own
- Email & communication management - You'll read everything, draft responses, prioritize what needs attention, and shield her from noise
- Calendar & scheduling - Complex coordination across external and internal team across time zones
- Event execution - In-person member events, GP dinners, and high-touch experiences that define our brand
- COO leverage - Anticipate needs, remove friction, make her 10x more effective
This is 80% business, 20% personal support. You'll handle confidential wire transfers, LP information, and communications that move millions of dollars. Discretion isn't optional.

- Direct exposure to tier-1 VC funds (Sequoia, Benchmark, Founders Fund, etc.)
- Relationships with founders, GPs, and LPs who operate at the top of the industry
- Potential path to support our CEO (Stanford GSB grad, former Lightspeed partner, 30 patents, 9-figure exit)
- Front-row seat to building venture capital infrastructure
What We Need
Someone who wants to be the best EA in VC fintech, not someone looking to "move up" into operations or strategy. We'll invest heavily in your training and development, but the role is the role—and it's a great one for the right person.
Our Ask
We're looking for a 2+ year minimum commitment. We'll teach you everything about how we operate, give you access to our network, and invest in making you exceptional. In return, we need someone who sees this as building a long-term craft, not a temporary gig.
