About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Business Development to play a pivotal role in the strategic growth and expansion of its healthcare services. The successful candidate will be a key partner to the Chief Growth Officer and other leaders, responsible for the development, execution, and communication of organizational strategic initiatives. This includes formalizing the strategic planning process, leading the development and execution of various strategies, and collaborating with physicians to enhance relationships, share of care, and identify opportunities for service and program expansion. The role also involves monitoring service line performance, gathering competitive intelligence, and assisting in the execution of transactions to support business growth. The ideal candidate for this role at the company will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, with a Master's degree strongly preferred, and at least 10 years of progressive senior leadership experience in business development, strategy, or related fields within large integrated delivery networks or academic health systems. They must possess a proven track record in executing and integrating transactions, as well as deep knowledge of healthcare operations, planning cycles, and performance frameworks. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to influence and build consensus across various areas. The role requires exceptional relationship skills, particularly with physicians, and the ability to influence and drive change in a complex, matrixed environment.
