Role Overview Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a Clinical Nutrition Manager position at Ocean University Medical Center in Brick Township, NJ, located along the Central Jersey Shore. This 318-bed acute care teaching hospital is designated as a Magnet® facility, recognized for excellence in nursing and patient care. In this leadership role, you will collaborate closely with a team of Clinical Nutrition Managers across the Hackensack MeridianHealth system while helping to strengthen and advance Clinicia , Sodexo’s global brand for clinical and patient nutrition. What You'll Do Manage the clinical nutrition program within Ocean University Medical Center Supervise, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team of RDs Provide direct patient care on a variety of units Drive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects Provide training and education to the food service staff and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals Collaborate with the implementation and management of Sodexo’s meal service program and menu management system Be the primary liaison with medical and nursing staff and represent the department on hospital-wide committees Ensure DOH/State/Federal and company standards are being upheld What We Offer Medical, Dental, Vision Care and Wellness Programs 401(k) Plan with Matching Contributions Paid Time Off and Company Holidays Career Growth Opportunities and Tuition Reimbursement What You Bring Registered Dietitian credentials with acute care experience and demonstrate a great clinical knowledge base Proven supervisory or management experience Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills Experience with Joint Commission/State/Federal and company standards A demonstrated passion for enhancing the patient experience and improving outcomes for the populations served Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire. Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire Minimum Management Experience: At least 13 months experience supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes.
