Job Description Job Description Job Title: Field Service Technician Duration: Full-time (Permanent) Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Home location anywhere in the state of PA, OH or MI (90% travel) Pay rate: $68,000 - $109,000 Annually + Benefits Job Description: In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact. Responsibilities: * Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer's operations and eliminate pain points. * Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products for which they are certified to perform. * Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities. * Acting as trainer when needed, for field service associates and customers. * Responsibilities also include performing commissioning/start -up services, troubleshooting/repair services, and preventative maintenance on measurement and analytical equipment. Qualifications for the role: * Bachelor's or Technical Degree with 2+ Years or Associate's Degree/High School Diploma with 5+ years of relative experience * Strong technical background with technical skills in startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive, and unplanned maintenance of analytical products including but not limited to continuous gas analyzers and gas chromatographs * Ability to build strong customer relationships, to work effectively with minimum supervision, demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, and be customer service oriented * Strong Computer skills to include Outlook, Excel, and Word * Ability and willingness to travel approximately 90% of the time, as required.
