Business Analyst - Real Estate Portfolio Strategy (Contract)

Our client, a leading global real estate firm, is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team supporting operations across the United States and Mexico. This is a maternity leave expecting to last 12-15 months, with an anticipated start in September. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to strategic real estate initiatives within a global organization while working alongside experienced professionals on high-impact portfolio decisions.

The Business Analyst will play a key role in evaluating and optimizing real estate portfolios, delivering strategic insights, and supporting senior stakeholders with data-driven recommendations. This position is ideal for candidates who combine strong analytical capabilities with real estate consulting experience and the ability to communicate complex findings effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis using data from multiple sources.

Develop client-ready presentations and strategic recommendations for executive audiences.

Support stakeholder engagement and client-facing discussions.

Assess real estate portfolios from both a macro and micro perspective, including:

Portfolio strategy and market positioning

Location optimization and footprint planning

City-level market analysis

Leasing strategy and decision support

Property performance evaluation

Translate complex data into actionable business and real estate recommendations.

Required Qualifications

2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related analytical role.

Bilingual Spanish preferred

Consulting experience is required.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data interpretation.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities.

Proven project planning and organizational skills.

Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Experience within commercial real estate, corporate real estate, or real estate consulting.
