** Tax Professionals –** Senior Tax Professionals, Manager and Senior Manager

** Location: ** Torrance, California
** Employment Type: ** Direct Hire, Full Time
** Work Arrangement: ** Onsite and Hybrid
** Compensation: ** Approximately $100,000–$260,000 annually, depending on experience and level

Legacy Career Solutions is partnering with an established full-service public accounting firm in Torrance to identify experienced tax professionals at several career levels.

• Experienced Tax Staff
• Indirect Tax Senior and Manager-level opportunities

** Responsibilities **

Depending on level, responsibilities may include:

• Preparing and reviewing federal, state, and local tax returns
• Managing tax compliance and consulting engagements
• Researching complex tax matters
• Identifying tax-planning opportunities
• Communicating directly with clients
• Supervising, training, and mentoring junior team members
• Managing engagement deadlines, budgets, and deliverables
• Supporting business-development and client-retention efforts
• Maintaining current knowledge of tax laws and regulatory developments

** Qualifications **

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field
• Current or recent public accounting experience
• Progressive tax compliance and consulting experience
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage competing deadlines during busy season
• CPA license or active progress toward CPA licensure preferred for senior-level roles
• CPA license generally expected for manager and senior-manager consideration
• Ability to work onsite in Torrance
• Ability to travel occasionally when required

Compensation will depend upon experience, credentials, technical expertise, and the level at which the candidate is hired.
