Human Resources Assistant Temp (Fulltime Onsite)

The Human Resources Assistant Temp will provide administrative, operational, and program support to the Human Resources department.

Position Type: Temporary assignment (7 months)

Responsibilities:

• Support the HRCG Internship Program by coordinating intern events, training sessions, documentation, files, and related program activities.
• Provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources department.
• Coordinate onboarding preparation for new hires, including setup in Arcoro and CMIC, distribution of IT onboarding invitations, and assignment of required training in Absorb LMS.
• Compile, maintain, and update employee records as needed.
• Process new hire and rehire documentation in Arcoro and create corresponding personnel files.
• Assist with processing background checks, drug screenings, and related pre-employment requirements.
• Maintain the HRCG Training Syllabus and Learning Catalogue, manage the training calendar, track attendance, issue training invitations, and monitor responses.
• Assist with benefits enrollments and qualified life event changes by updating Arcoro and distributing applicable change forms to payroll.
• Support OFCCP outreach compliance through newyorkdiversity.com.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in related field (HR and/or Psychology)

Skills/Abilities:

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
• Must be proactive, self-starter
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize against shifting demands and effectively multi-task.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Working knowledge in MS Excel, Office and Outlook.
