Job Purpose: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in-office. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in accounting and/or a business/accounting degree. Experience with payroll and bookkeeping is preferred. This role was created to support company growth and leverage existing customer relationships. Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations and journal entries. Process payroll accurately and on time, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Assist with bookkeeping, financial reporting and month-end closing procedures. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements. Support tax filing and compliance processes. Preferred Experience and Education: Associate’s degree in accounting, business or related field. Accounting experience preferred. Experience with payroll processing and bookkeeping. Experience with sales tax return processing. Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and problem-solving ability. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
