Administrative Assistant – HR Data Entry & Customer Service (Hybrid)

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
Location: Lexington, MA (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support a busy Human Resources Information Services (HRIS) team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, providing outstanding customer service, and supporting HR-related processes in a fast-paced environment.

This role is heavily focused on data entry and record management , making it ideal for candidates who are highly organized, accurate, and comfortable working with large volumes of information. In addition, you will serve as a key point of contact for employees who need assistance with HR and payroll-related questions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-volume data entry and maintenance within HR systems
  • Process personnel changes related to onboarding, payroll, benefits, time management, and employee records
  • Provide customer service support via phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Answer employee questions regarding HR processes, payroll, and employment transactions
  • Review data for accuracy and identify discrepancies or errors
  • Generate reports and assist with data analysis and audits
  • Support HR self-service applications and business systems
  • Assist with process improvements, workflow documentation, and testing of system enhancements
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of administrative support experience
  • Minimum 3 years of data entry experience
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience reviewing data for accuracy and troubleshooting errors
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP HR/HCM systems
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Experience generating reports and analyzing data
  • Experience with process improvement, workflows, or business process documentation
  • Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in an HR-related degree program
