CNC Machinist 1st ShiftDigital Tool and Die is an established tool and die shop in Grandville, Michigan. We specialize in designing and fabricating world-class sheet metal stamping dies, roll forming, fixtures, fabrication, and special applications to meet the industrial needs for automotive, furniture, prototyping, appliance, and U.S. Military.Job DescriptionSet up, operate, and maintain CNC machining equipmentFollow machine setup instructions defining tooling needed, work holding, and critical part requirements.Communicate with CNC manager and programmers to avoid mistakes and maximize efficiencies.Use precision measuring instruments to ensure repeatable accuracy of finished partsQualificationsFamiliar with basic operation of vertical and horizontal CNC equipment.Familiar with proper use of taps, endmills, and other machine cutting tools.Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranesProficient with use of precision measuring instrumentsThorough attention to detail and accuracy is a mustDependable, strong work ethic, collaborative team memberGood housekeeping skills1st shift hours: Mon-Fri 6am - 4:30 pm, Sat 6am - 11 amCore ValuesAdaptable: embrace change, find solutions, overcome obstaclesCustomer Focused: be responsive, exceed expectations, meet challengesDedicated: team, company, qualityDriven: achieve, be conscientious, self motivatedBenefitsFamily / Individual MedicalDentalVisionLife InsuranceDisability InsuranceAllowance for prescription safety glasses & work bootsIn house chiropractor appointments401K plan + employer match8 paid holidays + regular vacationOvertime premiumsPersonal savings plan
