Who this is for

Someone who already walks into doctors' offices for a living and leaves with a yes. If you've carried a bag for a pharmaceutical, medical-device, or aesthetics company — or sold anything to physicians face to face — and you want to build something rather than work a territory someone else drew, keep reading.

The company

I'm Steve Dworman, founder of XVolcano. We make XVesuvius®, an over-the-counter acne drug that Men's Health named Best Acne Product of 2025 and that a board-certified dermatologist evaluated independently and wrote to us about. I spent thirty years in direct-response television — hundreds of millions in sales for P&G, Apple, Microsoft, L'Oréal — before building this because my own kid spent years on acne products that were useless or brutal.

The opportunity

The orthodontist's chair is the one place in America where a fourteen-year-old's face is looked at every six weeks for two years, by a professional, with a parent in the room. Nobody is selling into it. We built a program for it — a kit the doctor uses to hand our product to two patients, with tracked cards for parents — and it's ready to go into twenty Los Angeles practices this fall.

That's the pilot. You run it. You walk into the offices, you learn what works, you write the playbook. If the pilot converts — and every kit has its own code, so we'll both know — the job becomes building this nationally, with you designing the rollout and earning on every office in it.

How it starts

Part-time and flexible, on your own schedule, around whatever else you're doing. Twenty practices over about three months. Product, kits, materials, and a warm-up list of practices we've already contacted are supplied.

How it pays

Independent contractor, paid on results. $50 when a practice accepts the kit (confirmed by the office). $150 the first time a parent from that practice orders with the office code. $12 on every order after that for twelve months — $15 once an office passes ten orders — whether or not you're still working the channel. $50 each time a doctor asks for more cards. A $1,000 bonus when ten of the twenty pilot practices are producing orders by day 90; $2,500 at fifteen. Twelve producing practices at typical volume is roughly $4,500 for the pilot, and everything above that is upside. If the pilot hits its gate, the role converts to full-time with a base, an override on the national rollout you'll be designing, and equity on the table.

You

●    Two or more years selling face to face to physicians, dentists, or clinics. Pharma, device, aesthetics, dental — any of them.

●    Based in Los Angeles. This is in person.

●    Comfortable being the whole sales department for a while.
