Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring at least one year of cardiovascular lab or critical care experience and an active IL RN license.

Details

• Cardiology department, Cardiac Cath Lab unit
• Adult and geriatric patient population undergoing cardiovascular procedures
• Full-time day shift schedule, 08:00-16:30
• Call rotation required, on call every 2nd-3rd weekend and 1-3 times per week
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications required upon hire and must be maintained
• BSN preferred
• Minimum one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab performing cardiac procedures or in a Critical Care setting required
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Deliver comprehensive patient care throughout diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedure monitoring
• Provide holistic support addressing physical, psychosocial, and emotional patient needs
• Collaborate with physicians and the Cath Lab team, offering continuous updates on patient status
• Prepare and maintain procedure rooms and equipment, ensuring proper function and calibration
• Manage case-specific supplies and inventory to support efficient team workflow
• Monitor and document physiologic and hemodynamic data during procedures
• Participate in quality and continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
