Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide compassionate and quality care in an emergency room setting. The nurse will apply their clinical expertise to support patient recovery and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions promptly upon arrival and prioritize care based on acuity levels.
• Implement nursing care plans tailored to individual patient needs and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Document all patient interactions and care activities accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain compliance with state licensure and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Oregon Registered Nurse license or be willing to obtain one.
• Recent (within 2 years) acute care hospital ER experience required.
• Possess BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications or willingness to obtain.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Be capable of managing high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment.
