Job Description:

Join Microchip Technology’s Human Resources team as a Human Resources Business Partner supporting the Business Units at our Colorado Springs manufacturing site. Reporting to the HR Business Partner Manager at our corporate office in Chandler, Arizona, this role will also support corporate HR initiatives and projects. The position provides onsite support in Colorado Springs, with hybrid options potentially available, and is best suited for candidates with 2 or more years of direct experience in Human Resources and staffing or recruiting.

In this role, you will build trusted relationships with assigned Business Unit leaders and employees, provide practical HR guidance and solutions, and help advance business goals while strengthening Microchip’s culture and values. At Microchip, employees are our greatest strength.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned Business Unit leaders and employees while providing HR guidance, support, and solutions aligned with business needs.
• Advise managers and employees on the interpretation and consistent application of company policies, procedures, and HR best practices.
• Support staffing activities, including creating requisitions, posting positions, coordinating and conducting interviews, extending and negotiating offers, and onboarding new hires.
• Maintain accurate staffing and employee records to support reporting requirements and OFCCP compliance.
• Process employee terminations in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Conduct employee exit interviews, document feedback, and identify relevant themes for HR and business leaders.
• Handle employee and business information with a high level of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism.
• Complete additional HR projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field with 2 or more years of direct experience in Human Resources and staffing or recruiting.

Qualified candidates should also demonstrate a strong work ethic, commitment to quality and continuous improvement, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, effective listening and written and verbal communication, presentation and facilitation skills, attention to detail, organization, relationship building, and the ability to work with minimal direction while balancing multiple tasks and projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PHR or SPHR certification.
• Experience with Workday HRIS.
• Prior Human Resources experience in a technical or semiconductor environment.
• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $57,784 - $128,000.*

*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
