Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly clients to identify their specific needs and develop tailored care plans.

• Deliver both individual and group counseling sessions, focusing on the emotional challenges and psychological adaptability associated with aging and life transitions.

• Provide education and support for staff and family members to enhance the understanding of emotional health and coping strategies for elderly individuals.

• Facilitate grief and loss counseling sessions, supporting clients and their families in navigating end-of-life issues with compassion and sensitivity.

• Document and maintain accurate client records using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on elderly clients, many of whom may be experiencing issues related to dementia, chronic illness, grief, or significant life changes. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
