Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs effectively.

• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals that address the specific needs of clients.

• Deliver therapeutic services through individual and group therapy sessions using modalities appropriate for various mental health issues.

• Provide teletherapy options to accommodate clients who face challenges attending in-person sessions.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in adherence to ethical standards and organizational policies.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including training in emerging therapeutic techniques, to enhance clinical skills.

• Facilitate positive, constructive discussions with clients to monitor their progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice serves a diverse population, including individuals struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. You will work with patients from various backgrounds, including adults and families, fostering an inclusive environment where every client feels valued and understood.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• A valid and active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Connecticut.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated by the ability to build rapport with clients.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, enabling efficient handling of a diverse caseload.

• A genuine empathetic approach and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a therapeutic or counseling role, particularly in a community or clinic setting.

• Familiarity with specific therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
