Program Specialist II

Waste Division Program and Administrative Support

This position will provide program and administrative support functions to the various programs in the Waste Division. The duties include, but are not limited to:

• Serving as the primary point of contact for internal document management and filing systems, including Laserfiche and enSite, and other Waste Division record-keeping and data management activities as assigned.
• Serving as the Travel Liaison. This includes assistance with travel planning, reviewing and processing travel vouchers, and other travel related tasks while adhering to MDEQ travel policy and Department of Finance travel policies and procedures.
• Serving as the Property Liaison. This includes maintaining inventory lists and assisting with audits or other property management activities.
• Serving as Vehicle Liaison. This includes maintaining vehicle records, mileage reports, and other related records.
• Overseeing equipment and supply needs including purchasing, invoice processing, and budgeting support when needed.
• Assisting and providing support to staff during workshops, training, public hearings, and other meetings or events sponsored by the Waste Division.
• Assisting with document preparation, processing of mass mail-outs, and similar administrative tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned the Division Chief or program managers.
