Lead Sterile Processing Technician - Full Time - Rancho Springs Hospital

Responsibilities Employee may be required to float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation provided. Qualifications Two (2) years of recent department specific experience required. Sterile processing course completion preferred. License/Certification Required: through Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) formerly known as International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) through Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) is required. Additional two certifications (Certified Instrument Specialist and Certified Healthcare Leader or Certified Surgical Instrument Specialist and Certified in Sterile Processing Management) must be acquired by new employees or current employees grandfathered into the role within two years; certifications must be maintained as a term of employment.
