Operations Specialist

As an Operations Specialist you will perform a variety of assignments in the Operations department and you will be cross trained in other duties within the department to fill in, when necessary. This is an excellent opportunity to learn multiple areas including: incoming and outgoing wire transfers, check card maintenance, various reconciliations, scanning and importing documents, among other items. Normal Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30p.m. Monday – Friday but could vary slightly on occasion.

Essential Functions of the job:

• Assist branch staff with questions and research
• Back-up online banking calls when needed
• Process Check Card travel alerts
• Review daily and monthly reports
• Reg CC Hold verification
• Returned Check Card log
• Review address changes and import forms
• Review daily stop payment report and forms from the branches
• Verify daily file maintenance reports and account paperwork

Skills Required to Perform the Duties of the Job: Must be knowledgeable of bank products, services and regulations as well as Adobe and Microsoft outlook, word, and excel. Ability to work well in a fast-paced service-oriented role working as a team. Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task several ongoing projects at once are a must. Good written and verbal communication skills are helpful. Ability to work independently and be self-motivated. Prior operations experience preferred but not required.
