Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Ob/Gyn

 This contract position is an on-site opportunity that offers a chance to provide exceptional care to our patients in a supportive medical practice environment.

As a Locum Ob/Gyn, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care. You will work closely with our healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and support the health and well-being of women in our community. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing a variety of clinical situations, contributing to our mission of providing exemplary medical services.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
• Conduct routine examinations and screenings
• Diagnose and manage various conditions related to women's health
• Perform surgical procedures as necessary
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Educate patients on health management and wellness
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in the state
• Experience in Ob/Gyn practice, preferably in a locum capacity
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current medical practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement
• Flexible and adaptable to changing clinical demands

Schedule: 24-hour call coverage, 7-10 days per month 

Setting: Inpatient

Delivery Volume: 0-2 deliveries per day

Cases: OB call coverage and deliveries

Must be able to perform c-sections

Support Staff: RNs, OB Tech, Lactation Consultants

EMR: MedHost & Centricity

Must be board-certified
