Job Description

• Craft Customized Therapy Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and design tailored therapy strategies aimed at reaching their functional objectives.
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply scientifically supported practices to boost patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work closely alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure an integrative, holistic approach to care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and caregivers on therapeutic methods that support progress outside of clinical settings.
• Track Progress and Adjust Plans: Monitor outcomes and modify treatment approaches as necessary to keep patients on their path to recovery.

Education

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Encouragement and support for continued education and post-grad certifications.

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• Certification from the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is mandatory.
