A pharmacy technician position is available per diem in the Hampton, VA area, supporting a retail and long-term care setting. This role involves dispensing prescribed medications accurately and providing valuable information to customers to promote safe and effective medication use. Schedule:

• Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, for multiple weeks starting from June 22 through July 29, 2026

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately distribute medications as prescribed by physicians and healthcare practitioners
• Offer guidance and clear communication to patients regarding medication usage
• Maintain a superior level of customer service within the pharmacy environment

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Virginia Pharmacy Technician License is required
• Previous experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
