Assistant Professor in Culturally Responsive AI-BasedTechnologies Location: Philadelphia, PA Open Date: Jul 23, 2024 Deadline: Jul 23, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an AssistantProfessor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track.Expertise is required in the specific area of Implementation of CBTor other evidence-based practices in community mental healthsettings, particularly those serving historically marginalizedcommunities, as well as the development and evaluation ofartificial intelligence based tools to scale these efforts.Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree. Applicants must be a licensedclinical psychologist or license-eligible in Pennsylvania. Teaching responsibilities may include working with community mentalhealth providers and organizations to implement high-fidelityevidence-based mental health practices, with an emphasis onteaching community providers to use a culturally responsiveapproach. Clinical responsibilities may include supervision of postdoctoralfellows in the implementation of CBT, as well as consultation withcommunity providers on the application of CBT and culturallyresponsive strategies with their clients. Research or scholarship responsibilities may include leading andcollaborating in the development of implementation research andpractice; academic scholarship; development of training andimplementation resources; and grant/contract fundedsubmissions.
