Radar System Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Strong experience with weather radar and processing weather radar data
- Creation and analysis of link budgets
- Simulation and analysis of radar systems
- Developing system and subsystem requirements (hardware, firmware, software)
- Creating compliance matrices
- Creating verification plans for systems and subsystems
- Conducting verification testing
- Developing and maintaining schedules, creating workarounds to stay on track
- Designing software/firmware system architecture, block diagrams, flowcharts, and verification
- Staying informed about new technology, competitor products, and writing articles promoting the company and its capabilities
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for R&D growth
- Growing the team through hiring, mentoring, and training
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Engineering with a focus on remote sensing and 10 years of relevant experience
- This position requires working in the office for a minimum of 40 hours/5 days per week due to company size and limited experience
- Must be a US citizen
