About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Corporate Partnerships to lead the development and execution of its corporate philanthropy program. This senior fundraising leader will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-value corporate prospects and partners, designing structured engagement programs, and driving the growth of philanthropic revenue through strategic relationships. The role involves close collaboration with university leadership, faculty, and external stakeholders to secure significant philanthropic support in alignment with the institution's strategic plan. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years' experience in corporate engagement or advancement, a proven track record in closing significant industry partnerships and philanthropic gifts, and the ability to engage with senior corporate executives. Strategic leadership, interdisciplinary collaboration, and team management skills are essential, as is the ability to work across complex institutional environments and with a focus on the STEM corporate landscape. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and have a strong background in corporate relations and philanthropic fundraising, particularly within higher education or complex institutions. The role requires a demonstrated network of senior corporate contacts, fluency in corporate decision-making structures, and a proven ability to close partnerships. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent organizational and project management skills, and an energetic, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented approach to leadership. Proficiency in CRM systems and prospect research tools is necessary, as is the ability to manage complex internal and external relationships with diplomacy and professionalism. The Executive Director will also be responsible for leading and mentoring a team, overseeing Salesforce discipline, and managing subscriptions to key prospecting tools.
