LaborMax Staffing is seeking an experienced Metal Treatment Technician for a manufacturing facility in Orlando, FL.
IMPORTANT: This position requires previous hands-on experience in metal treatment, chemical processing, metal finishing, anodizing, conversion coating, or a closely related field. Warehouse, packing, picking, or general labor experience alone does NOT qualify.
What You’ll Do
- Apply chemical conversion coatings to metal parts according to customer specifications.
- Clean and prepare metal parts using power washers and air drying.
- Follow chemical processing procedures and process flow charts.
- Read and correctly interpret job travelers and work instructions.
- Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met.
- Work with Quality and Production teams to meet production schedules.
- Follow all chemical handling, safety, and quality procedures.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Previous professional experience in metal treatment, chemical processing, metal finishing, anodizing, conversion coating, or a similar manufacturing process.
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of metal treatment/finishing processes.
- Experience reading job travelers, process sheets, or production specifications is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
