Metal Treatment Technician

Job Description

LaborMax Staffing is seeking an experienced Metal Treatment Technician for a manufacturing facility in Orlando, FL.

IMPORTANT: This position requires previous hands-on experience in metal treatment, chemical processing, metal finishing, anodizing, conversion coating, or a closely related field. Warehouse, packing, picking, or general labor experience alone does NOT qualify.

What You’ll Do

Apply chemical conversion coatings to metal parts according to customer specifications.
Clean and prepare metal parts using power washers and air drying.
Follow chemical processing procedures and process flow charts.
Read and correctly interpret job travelers and work instructions.
Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met.
Work with Quality and Production teams to meet production schedules.
Follow all chemical handling, safety, and quality procedures.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Previous professional experience in metal treatment, chemical processing, metal finishing, anodizing, conversion coating, or a similar manufacturing process.
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of metal treatment/finishing processes.
Experience reading job travelers, process sheets, or production specifications is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
