Role Overview

An experienced Senior ERP Implementation Project Manager is sought to lead the enterprise-wide deployment of a new ERP platform across a rapidly growing portfolio of residential exterior improvement companies. This individual will serve as the client-side PMO lead, overseeing the successful implementation, coordination, governance, and phased rollout of a new ERP solution, expected to be NetSuite or Sage, across multiple operating companies. The selected consultant will work with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and the selected ERP implementation partner to ensure the project remains on schedule, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Project Manager and PMO lead for a multi-company ERP implementation initiative.
• Partner with executive stakeholders to establish governance structures, project plans, milestones, and reporting cadence.
• Coordinate activities between the parent company, operating company leadership, and the selected ERP implementation partner.
• Facilitate project kickoff, discovery workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and stakeholder meetings.
• Develop and manage integrated project plans covering ERP implementation, data migration, user acceptance testing, training, and change management.
• Track project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
• Drive alignment across multiple business units and geographic locations.
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, resource requirements, and implementation deliverables.
• Lead executive status reporting and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
• Support migration efforts from a legacy custom-built FoxPro-based ERP environment.
• Ensure a successful phased rollout across multiple operating companies.
• Coordinate business readiness activities and stakeholder adoption efforts.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of Project Management experience leading large-scale technology transformation initiatives.
• Proven experience managing ERP implementation projects.
• Experience leading projects involving external systems integrators or implementation partners.
• Strong PMO, governance, scheduling, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience managing enterprise-wide software deployments across multiple business units or locations.
• Demonstrated success managing complex data migration initiatives.
• Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing numerous stakeholders and competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• NetSuite implementation experience.
• Sage ERP implementation experience.
• Salesforce implementation or integration project experience.
• Experience supporting accounting, finance, project accounting, or operational transformation initiatives.
• Prior work with multi-site organizations or platform and roll-up acquisition environments.
• Experience within home services, construction, fencing, decking, building materials, or related industry organizations.
• Familiarity with inventory management and warehouse-related business processes.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or related Project Management certification preferred.

Engagement Details

• The engagement duration is expected to be 6-9 months.
• This position is remote.
• Preferred Time Zones are Central or Mountain. Pacific may be considered for candidates comfortable supporting early morning meetings.
• The interview process will consist of one round with project stakeholders, including executive leadership.
