You will be working in a telehealth setting, utilizing digital platforms to connect with individuals seeking support. Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day activities will include:

• Coordinating and documenting transitions in hospital/inpatient services and program transfers as needed, ensuring seamless care by collaborating with relevant hospital staff for patient discharges.
\n
• Utilizing crisis de-escalation skills to provide immediate support to clients, including serving as the Clinician of the Day for on-the-ground milieu support.
\n
• Completing and documenting thorough risk assessments and safety plans to identify individuals at risk of crisis service interactions.
\n
• Maintaining same-day documentation for all clients identified as at risk, ensuring accurate and timely records.
\n
• Filing critical incident reports within 24 hours when necessary to uphold safety and standards of care.
\n
• Carrying an after-hours phone on an alternating schedule to provide consistent care coordination support.
\n
• Proactively working with clients to avoid crisis intervention methods, thereby promoting long-term mental health stability.
\n
• Managing crisis alerts effectively, ensuring direct coordination with county crisis services for participants.
\n

You will support a diverse array of clients facing various mental health challenges. This role is particularly crucial in aiding participants in distress and those transitioning from higher levels of care, fostering resilience and empowering them to manage their conditions effectively.

Qualifications\n

To thrive in this position, candidates should possess:

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution.

• An independent license in the state of residence (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) which qualifies you to provide mental health services.
\n
• The ability to employ educated judgment, communicate clearly, maintain composure during crises, and exemplify empathy and effective listening skills.

Compensation and Benefits\n
