Salary$140000 - $220000LocationManhattan, New York, NY, USAContractPermanentIndustryAccountancy & FinanceContactSam View email address on click.appcast.io Oliver James have recently partnered with a leading global banking institution as they seek to hire a Vice President of FP&A and Product Control to join their fast-growing finance team in New York.The Vice President will be responsible for providing strategic financial oversight, product control, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis across their North American franchise.The ideal candidate would possess 5+ years of experience within the banking/capital markets space, combine strong FP&A and product control expertise with a deep understanding of Global Markets products; our client is offering a cash compensation package between $170,000 and $220,000, strong hybrid working, an excellent benefits package, a clear route for progression and much more!Responsibilities:Partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Global Markets and Risk to provide strategic financial analysis and commercial decision support.Deliver accurate and insightful management reporting, financial performance analysis and product control across the North American business.Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities, providing meaningful variance analysis and performance commentary.Produce management information that supports executive decision-making and business strategy.Provide financial oversight across a diverse Global Markets product portfolio, ensuring robust governance and financial controls.Analyse business performance, revenue trends and balance sheet movements to identify opportunities and risks.Drive process improvements and enhance reporting efficiency through automation and continuous improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Risk, Operations, Compliance and Front Office to deliver high-quality financial insight.Present financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership, influencing key business decisions.Requirements:5+ years of experience within FP&A and/or Product Control within an investment bank or global financial institution.Strong knowledge of Global Markets and Capital Markets products (ideal).Proven experience delivering budgets, forecasts and performance reporting.Excellent analytical skills and understanding of AI tools/driving process improvements.Benefits:Competitive compensation package worth up to $220,000Hybrid workingComprehensive health coverage with multiple medical plan optionsStrong financial benefits and company-paid life insuranceWellness and lifestyle benefitsA clear route for progression to the executive levelMuch more!If you possess the relevant experience and are interested in exploring this opportunity, please send a copy of your resume to [email protected]
