Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing therapeutic sessions with clients, utilizing evidence-based practices to address mental health challenges.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that reflect the unique needs and goals of each client while employing culturally relevant approaches.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on a range of issues, including trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties.

• Maintain thorough and confidential records through electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Engage in case management duties, including collaborating with other healthcare professionals and community organizations to provide comprehensive care.

• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities such as workshops and training to enhance therapy skills and stay current on industry trends.

The clients at High Point Family and Marriage Counseling include a wide demographic from children to adults, with a particular focus on families from Latino backgrounds. Our clients often seek support in overcoming challenges related to cultural identity, familial relationships, and societal pressures. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license.
\n
• Strong written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills, with proficiency in providing bilingual psychotherapy services in both English and Spanish.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting, specifically working with children, adults, and family dynamics.
\n
• Cultural competency to respect and address each family’s unique needs and customs.
\n
• Experience in therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

• Ability to work effectively within a team and with a diverse clientele.
\n
• A valid driver’s license and insurance required for occasional in-person client interaction.
\n
• Willingness to provide services as an in-network provider on at least one insurance panel.
\n
• Regular and consistent attendance is key; you must be willing to work at least two evenings per week and one weekend day.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in areas such as trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health.

• Prior experience with telehealth practices in a HIPAA-compliant environment.

• Proficient in utilizing EHR software and Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting.

• A demonstrated commitment to professional growth and learning within the therapeutic community.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive and ranges from $70,000 to $105,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, we offer a sign-on bonus, flexible work hours, professional development opportunities, and a supportive team environment.
