Tax Senior Manager - Private Client Services

EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to join the Private Client Services (PCS) practice. The role offers a hybrid working model with flexible office location. Responsibilities Supervise a team, foster strong client relationships, and contribute to business development in an entrepreneurial environment. Oversee tax planning and compliance for ultra‑high net worth individuals and families, especially clients in the financial services sector such as hedge funds, private equity, and investment‑related entities. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hedge fund K‑1 treatment and a working understanding of trusts, estates, gifts and charitable entities. Directly engage with clients to deliver innovative tax planning, consulting and compliance solutions. Review complex tax returns and maintain regular communication with clients. Build and nurture relationships with clients, staff and external vendors. Provide training and supervision to staff, including reviewing and evaluating work. Occasional local travel may be required. Actively prospect new client relationships and participate in client seminars to expand networking opportunities. Stay updated on tax law changes and apply new knowledge to client engagements. Collaborate with other tax professionals within the firm to coordinate efforts and ensure effective delivery of tax services. Hold self and direct reports accountable for achieving developmental goals. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field (required). 10+ years of progressive tax experience providing compliance and consulting services to high‑net‑worth individuals. 8+ years of tax compliance specialization in complex technical areas for individuals and businesses. Recent public accounting experience. CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent certification (required). Preferred/Desired Qualifications Master’s degree in Taxation or related field. Experience acquiring new clients and growing a book of business. Experience using GoSystems or CCH Axcess tax software.
