Job Summary

Senior Payloads Design Engineer – Aircraft Interiors & Structures

Our client is seeking an experienced Payloads Design Engineer to support the design, integration, certification, and production of aircraft interiors and cargo systems. The engineer will develop and maintain structural and interior payload designs using 3D CAD tools, work with aerospace suppliers and airlines, and ensure designs meet engineering and regulatory requirements.

The role supports the full product lifecycle, from customer configuration and initial design through testing, certification, production, and delivery. Responsibilities may include aircraft interiors, BFE monuments, lavatories and galleys, lighting, cargo compartments, configuration, livery, certification, and production integration.

The ideal candidate will have 9+ years of engineering experience, a bachelor's degree in engineering, and experience with aerospace design, integration, certification, FAA Part 25/EASA requirements, supplier coordination, and manufacturing. Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills are also important.
